Barron has been a thought leader in the non-profit sector for 20 years. Barron is the current VP of Partnership Development for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle and has held several roles during his tenure at Big Brothers Big Sisters in multiple states. Barron has extensive knowledge in the area of volunteerism, recruitment, philanthropy, and partnership development and has trained thousands of volunteers during his professional career. Barron has been a featured guest on several TV, and radio shows discussing topics related to youth development and philanthropy. His work on travel transformation has been recently highlighted in national publications such as Parent Magazine.
Barron is a graduate of the University of South Carolina in Columbia where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Psychology and a Master’s degree in Business Management from Webster University. Barron is currently one of the Managing Partners of the Business of Life Coaching and Consulting. (BOLCC) Barron is a seasoned Entrepreneur, Philanthropist, and a Certified Professional Transformation Coach through the International Coaching Federation. Barron is also a Certified Non-Profit Consultant. and Executive. He currently serves on the Advisory Council at George Washington University in the School of Business.
Barron and his wife Katrina recently established the BK Damon Foundation whose mission is to make a difference in the lives of young people and adults through philanthropic acts of kindness. He is a member of the Rotary Club and enjoys spending time with his wife and life partner Dr. Katrina Damon, their wonderful children, family, and friends. He loves learning new things, traveling, coaching others, and playing golf, disc golf and pickelball.
